Details
This beautiful classic is exceptionally comfortable, and is perhaps the most distinguished iconic piece of the 20th century. Made of highly dense foam and plywood with nature wood veneer, the Lounge Chair and Ottoman was released in 1956, but only after years of development by designers Charles and Ray Eames. They are now part of the permanent collection of New York's Museum of Modern Art. The Lounge Chair is permanently reclined at 15 degrees. This gives comfort to the body, as the weight of the body is distributed evenly onto the backrest of the chair.
